Being a teenager means dealing with real-life, adult-level issues—without the freedom to be fully in the driver’s seat of your life. Pressures from school, friends, family, and the world in general can feel overwhelming. And then, on top of it all, you hear that your brain isn’t even fully developed to process everything you’re going through. So where does that leave you?

My hope is that by working together, you’ll not only feel equipped to navigate all of this (and whatever else life throws your way), but that we’ll also set a strong foundation for coping throughout your life.
I know it can feel uneasy to meet someone new and open up about what’s hard. That’s why I want to give you a clear idea of what the beginning of our work together looks like:
- Reach out via the ‘Contact Me’ page.
- I’ll email you within two business days to set up a 15-minute intake call.
- If it feels like a good fit, we’ll schedule our first session—only if you want to! (No pressure.)
- Our first session can be virtual or in-person—your choice.
- The first few sessions will be focused on getting to know each other. We don’t have to dive into the hard stuff unless you want to. I’ll lead the way; your only job is to show up as you.
- Once we’ve built a strong foundation, we’ll start to tackle whatever brought you here in the first place.
I always tell my clients—and I mean it—it’s my job to earn your trust. You don’t owe me your hardest stories right away (or ever). Therapy moves at your pace, and I’m here to support you however you need.
Let’s take this one step at a time, together.
